5ML: DESIGN OBJECTS

5ml Design Collective is a UK partnership between Ilsa Parry, Michael Cloke and Tom Sutton. The brand is a design led organisation on a mission to assist independent British and international concept led creatives and design led craftspersons gain access to affordable opportunities to find new markets for their inventive products. At Liverpool Design Show 2011 they are presenting ‘Pixel Texel Luxel Voxel’ a collection of designers zooming in on pattern, light, texture and volume with examples of lighting, furnishings, homewares, and lifestyle accessories using a mix of traditional and digital techniques.

Steven Almond designs and markets his own products under the “Design Objects” brand. “When I look at many products I see lost opportunities to design something much more special and it is this challenge that spurs me on as a designer”. Steven produces original design products that provide functionality that is affordable to a broad market.
