DEELYN

DeeLyn specialises in hand-crafted silver & mixed media jewellery and unique sculptural ceramics. Bold geometric patterns and optical illusion are common in her work; these are explored through the arrangement of repetitive components and shapes.

She will be exhibiting her current jewellery range, RE:strung, which combines her love of music with more serious ecological concerns. The pieces are made of recycled guitar strings and sterling silver, using traditional silversmithing techniques. There will also be a selection of the ceramic work on show.

As a side project, DeeLyn has teamed up with NYC based charity ‘The Voice Project’, to create RE:strung jewellery pieces from the strings of celebrated musicians. Proceeds from the online sales in America benefit victims of war in Uganda and the Congo.
