Christine specialises in contemporary hand cut marquetry and creates 'one off' pieces which can either be functional items - mirrors, boxes and screens - or wall-based artworks. Using both conventional and 'reconstructed' dyed wood veneers, she lets her designs evolve in the cutting process with her inspiration often drawn from architecture. Vital considerations in her designs are balance and rhythm.
