About Ilsa Parry and REthinkthings:
Ilsa Parry is a Product Designer, Creativity Consultant and Design Educator. Clients include Sony, Unilever, Bo Concept, Liverpool Biennial, Mc Donalds, National Museums and Lego.
Ilsa has been combining lecturing and teaching work with her passion for developing new products for over seven years, since graduating in 3D Design in 2003. Following her first independent trade show in 2008, she was selected to appear on the BBC ‘Design for Life’ show with Philippe Starck, which she famously went on to win.
Ilsa now operates three brands from her Liverpool based design studio:
Client commissions and consultancy under her own name; the REthinkthings product collection - a series of innovative products brought to market independently for retail; and the third brand, 5ml Design Collective, through which Ilsa sells her products alongside those of co-directors and invited designers at international trade shows.
Ilsa is passionate about raising interest and awareness in the importance of design understanding, for human development and life sustenance.
