TEXTILES IN ACTION

This fascinating exhibition presents the work of newly established contemporary textiles network; ‘Re:View Textiles’. The network, which is North West focused, consists of over 50 members who meet every three months at The Bluecoat, Liverpool.

This exhibition profiles and explores the work of ten members. Each of the artists on show explore, utilise and respond to textiles in unique and personal ways, serving to blur the divisions between textiles as a craft form and other practice based areas such as installation art, sculpture and film. The artists are: Susan Beck, Ally Burr, Susan Comer, Emma Gilmour, Rachael Howard, Amanda Jones, Tania Oakshott, Deborah Payne, Eleanor Suggett and Christine Toh.
