EKAPA - SOUTH AFRICAN JEWELLERY

This exhibition highlights the work of twelve contemporary jewellers and metalworkers based in Cape Town in South Africa. It also features the work of Bluecoat Display Centre artist in residence: Frieda Luhl.

Complementing the jewellery is a selection of  art created under the Streetwires initiative which specialises in original, hand-crafted African wire art. Streetwires is a social entrepreneurial organisation and creates sustainable employment for disadvantaged South Africans through a transformational craft medium.
